Santa Teresa is the south of Nicoya with the volume up. The beach is long, the road is dust, and the day runs from the lineup to a fruit stand to whatever is open after dark. It was Guanacaste; it still feels like it. Come for the waves and the light — stay if the dirt road starts to make sense.
